Flexible CO₂ Solutions for Every Project Scope
Every project has different requirements. Pentair supports customers with both turnkey carbon capture solutions and specialized downstream CO₂ processing technologies.
Pentair supports carbon capture projects with complete end-to-end solutions as well as standalone CO₂ compression, CO₂ purification, and CO₂ liquefaction systems that integrate with third-party carbon capture technologies.
Carbon Capture Solutions
Recovery Based Unit (RBU) - for high-concentration CO2 streams
Capture, liquefaction, and purification of high-purity CO2 raw gas with a concentration of 95–99% CO2, and can be sourced, e.g., from ethanol production, fermentation process, or ammonia and ethylene production, etc.
Extraction Plants (EBU) - for CO2 self-sufficiency with existing flue gas source
Capture CO₂ from boiler flue gas, whether fired with diesel, heavy fuel oil, kerosene, natural gas, LPG, or LNG, delivering high-purity CO₂ for beverage-grade applications.
Advanced Amine Technology (AAT) - for capturing CO2 from fluegas
Low-purity CO2 raw gas is sourced from the combustion of fossil fuel, lime, or cement kilns and requires an upgrading unit to make it feasible for use in a CO2 liquefaction unit.
FlashCO2 - Recovery plant for medium concentration sources
Patented process that has been developed for use on hydrogen plants and steam reformers.
Self-Generating Plants (CBU) - for CO2 self-sufficiency
Combustion-based generating plants are designed to enable decentralized production of CO2 from flue gas.
